Microsoft - still don't get it
Take a look at the capture above from http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/default.aspx a few minutes ago.
How old are the tweets? Two days ago ... ?
And this is most likely why Microsoft doesn't get it and never will. Why have old tweets? Isn't the whole idea that tweets represents whats going on now, at this very moment, not what happened a few days ago? Why can other sites have tweets update live? Or if you have to have a list of corporate approved tweets why not show them with the newest tweet first? Waiting for the list to scroll by, I see some from 'yesterday'.
I can not imagine why a big company like Microsoft can not get this right. Or hire someone that can make it right. This is simple stuff. If they can not get this right why should we trust that they get their products right? Microsoft is stuck in the mud...
And no... there will be no house party in my house, ok?
